Apex were proud to be a part of the power restoration efforts in Broken Hill after a storm wiped out several 220kv transmission towers leaving the town without mains power and being declared a natural disaster zone. Apex assisted local mine sites in installing and commissioning backup generators and a 415v/22kv step up transformer to feed their HV reticulation. Apex also supplied generators to local residents who were without power.
